Wind Turbine Assembly

This is the finished assembly. The angle iron with the two holes will hold the rotorary mechanism that allows the turbine to rotate without twisting the wires running down the tower.

Here is a picture of my test rig for the alternator. Here I can set any RPM and measure voltage and current.

Here, I am determining how hot the coils get with different currents using an IR temperature meter. Of course, a given current will result in a higher temperature when it is encased in a mold. This just gives me an estimate at what current I start to see significant temperature elevation.
